Thunderous Curtain Of Helmcken Falls

Thunderous Curtain Of Helmcken Falls

At Wells Gray Provincial Park, Helmcken Falls plunge in a straight, powerful stream from the cliff into the gorge below. A dense cloud of spray rises at the base, spreading through the canyon and partially obscuring the lower section. On both sides, steep rock walls and dense conifer forests frame the waterfall. At the bottom, the river continues between the trees, with patches of white foam visible along its course. The dark cliffs and deep green vegetation create a strong contrast against the bright water and the mist ascending from the impact.
