Reflections At Mount Robson Lake

In front of the striking silhouette of Mount Robson lies a calm alpine lake whose surface acts like a mirror. The surrounding peaks and slopes are reflected with crisp contours, creating an almost perfect symmetry. On the left, a dense green forested hillside stretches down to the shoreline, while on the right gray cliffs rise steeply into the sky. Above the valley, clouds sweep across, softened into smooth shapes by long exposure. The eye is drawn from the lake’s edge into the depth of the water and further upward toward the snow-covered summit, which dominates the center of the composition.
